We have needed scoring from day !. Richards is good but not up to expectations. Even so, we are a good team; great team I don't know. The young guys make it exciting & they are there for the long haul - even Duby. He's having an off year but he tries hard. Let them be themselves. This trade talk is no good for a team's morale. Did u read Larry Brooks article today? I swear, someone in the Rangers organization is reading my Internet posts. Reports are, Howson is offered Duby, Thomas, McIlrath, 1st rounder for Nash. Sather is thinking exactly what I said except he would rather keep Erixon, I like McIlrath. If we flounder offensively in the next 2 games, Sather may need to sweeten the deal. I bet Hagelin will be the deal closer. If that happens, Bickel can stay on as 12th forward/7th D. I hope it happens.

Wow, was Torts medicated?!?! Very calm assessment of what was by far one of the most lack luster showings by the Rangers all season. After listening to that I have to wonder if we watched the same game... DZ made a dumb play but I don't think he deserved to be singled out amidst the team as a whole. Bottom line, nobody started playing with any real heart or intensity until the last 10 minutes of the third period. I hope Sather dosen't nuke what fragile chemistry this team has through any knee-jerk reaction trades... please let the season play out and work out the next step details in the off season. Put the trade rumors to bed and let the boys concentrate on the game. LETS GO RANGERS!

MDZ made 1 really bad play - no doubt. I don't think he's going to make the same mistake again, Torts will ensure that it doesn't.

the penguins looked like they were on a power play for 1/3 of the game, we were lucky it was only 2-0. # games in a row with poor effort, team is tiring, overplaying them with minutes, not rolling 4 lines. This was predictable, and the reason we aren't cup favorites. Hank is great, we need someone to mesh with Richards to give us a scoring line. If Crosby comes back, there is no shot to beat them in a 7 game series, sorry, I know many of you think we can, but the truth is we can't. Sather has a tough choice to make, don't trade the team away, take the bumps, and make offseason changes, and be a REAL contender next year, get the experience this year. Yes, they are in 1st in east, but aren't cup favorites for this reason.

torts was very diplomatic for they played like garbage

we need to start shooting more and scoring.. this cant happen during the playoffs we NEED to score point blank.
