Lundqvist: 301 Is An “Extremely Proud Feeling”

It was a wild start for Henrik Lundqvist and the Rangers, who found themselves trailing, 2-1, within the game’s opening minutes. In the end, though, Lundqvist shut the door the rest of the way and Carl Hagelin scored a hat trick en route to a 4-2 win over Winnipeg, which was Lundqvist’s 301st win, tying him with Mike Richter for most in Rangers history.

After the game, Lundqvist spoke with MSG Network’s John Giannone about the importance of the win, the penalty kill, playing physically, the “brutal” start, his diving play to breakup a play, his 301st win with the Rangers, his tenure with the Rangers and more.
