AV: “We Did What We Had to Do”

The Rangers swept their back-to-back set with a 4-2 win over the Columbus Blue Jackets Thursday night, and while head coach Alain Vigneault may not have been pleased with the entire 60 minutes, his team did enough to leave Ohio with a W.

After the game, Vigneault discussed how the game ended, finishing up their long stretch of games, what he liked about the first and second periods, getting back to .500, the play of Cam Talbot, the hit on Taylor Pyatt, his thoughts on Ryan McDonagh shooting for the empty net and more.
