Training camp and preseason are behind Rangers head coach Alain Vigneault and his staff, and now he's ready to go. He won't have to wait much longer, as the Rangers will open the 2013-14 season Thursday night against the Phoenix Coyotes.

Prior to heading out west, Vigneault discussed his feelings on the start of the season, where he feels the team is right now, the status of Ryan Callahan, the nine-game road trip to start the season, the power play, his reflection of the summer and training camp, moving Brad Richards to left wing, his feelings on hybrid icing and more.
