Rangers head coach Alain Vigneault said the process of making cuts could come sooner than expected after Tuesday's 5-3 loss to the Edmonton Oilers, as the team now has two preseason games remaining before next week's regular season opener.
After the game, Vigneault met with the media and discussed the team's slow start but strong finish, how some players are "falling behind" the speed of the NHL game and how that could lead to cuts, J.T. Miller's strong first preseason game and the coach's return to Vancouver on Thursday night.
