While it may still be the preseason, Rangers defenseman Marc Staal certainly took a big step forward in his re-adjustment to NHL action on Monday night when he scored the Rangers lone goal — on the power play — in the team's 4-1 loss to the Calgary Flames. Staal had not scored since February 28, as just days following his last tally, he suffered an eye injury that limited him to just one game the rest of the season.
