Even though it is just Sept. 17 and it's just the second preseason game, defenseman Ryan McDonagh said the team still wants to win and the satisfaction is still there. That satisfaction was there in a 3-2 win over the Philadelphia Flyers.

McDonagh — who wore an "A" on his sweater — met with the media after the win to discuss how he felt after the game, playing with Dan Girardi, how the team "didn't break," a change in the team's approach under Alain Vigneault, the game's intensity, Cam Talbot's late-game save and more.

What did you think of McDonagh wearing the "A" tonight? Let us know in the comments below.
