A.V.: "Need Surprises" In Camp From Different Players

Alain Vigneault's first on-ice day of Rangers training camp as the team's bench boss began on Thursday, with players taking the ice for skating drills and tests.

Following most of the testing, Vigneault met with the media to discuss the testing, the status of both J.T. Miller — who left the ice during testing — and Martin Biron — left the team due to personal reasons but is expected back before tomorrow —, the team's meeting and dinner on Wednesday, Brad Richards and Oscar Lindberg, needing to get surprises from different players in camp, the absense of Derek Stepan and more.
