A year after he went undrafted, goaltender Mackenzi Skapski finally heard his name at the 2013 NHL Draft when the Rangers selected him in the sixth round. Skapski, 19, posted 34 wins and a .910 save percentage with Kootenay of the Western Hockey League.

After Wednesday's session during Rangers development camp, Skapski spoke with Jim Cerny about being drafted, what the last few days have been like for him, working with Rangers goalie coach Benoit Allaire, visiting New York on Fourth of July, his more recent season in the WHL and more.
