Inconsistency has been an issue with the Rangers all season, but head coach John Tortorella believes this is the most consistent his team has played all season, and rightfully so. The Blueshirts have won three straight and seven of their last 10, and find themselves just three points out of fifth place in the Eastern Conference after Sunday's 4-1 win over the New Jersey Devils.

After the game, Tortorella discussed his team's recent consistent play, Taylor Pyatt's game and the importance of his second period goal that made it 3-0, Carl Hagelin's recent improvement, the impact the new players have made since the trade deadline and the flexibility the team gets by splitting up defensemen Dan Girardi and Ryan McDonagh.
