Injuries are never fun, especially when you get traded while rehabbing one. But, that is where foward Derek Dorsett finds himself as he continues to heal a broken collarbone he suffered in March as a member of the Columbus Blue Jackets.
It appears, though, that there is light at the end of the tunnel for the 26-year-old gritty winger, as he skated for the second straight day following Tuesday morning's skate at the Wells Fargo Center. After the session, Dorsett spoke with reporters about any potential timetable for his return, his training regimen while he continues to nurse the injury, any possible new equipment he may wear after he returns to the lineup, and his desire to show his new teammates and coaches what he can bring to the team.
How excited are you to see Dorsett in Rangers blue? Wish him luck in his recovery in the comments below.
