After Buffalo's Patrick Kaleta hit Brad Richards in the lower back and sent him acreening into the boards at the 3:28 mark of the third period on Sunday night---earning a five-minute major and a game misconduct---the Rangers struck quickly and exacted some measure of revenge by scoring a pair of power play goals just 43 seconds apart to turn a 1-0 deficit into a 2-1 lead.

As head coach John Tortorella would say after the game, "I am glad we made them pay."
