Saturday's was not the easiest of games for Marc Staal to play. The Rangers alternate captain was felled by the flu the day before and did not take part in the morning skate on Saturday, choosing to remain in his hotel room instead. But when it was time to play Staal was there for the Rangers, and incredibly he logged nearly 28 minutes of ice-time in the Rangers 3-0 loss to the Canadiens.
Monday after practice, a healthier Staal met with reporters and said that he'll feel "better tomorrow" when the Blueshirts host the Jets at Madison Square Garden. He also discussed what it will be like if the team is without fellow blueliner Ryan McDonagh.
