It's been five days since Henrik Lundqvist patrolled the Rangers crease, and he is anxious and excited to get back in there Sunday night against the Washington Capitals at The Garden.
Lundqvist stopped 37 of 40 shots---plus three of four in the shootout---in leading the Rangers past the Bruins 4-3 on Tuesday, and then he watched from the bench as Marty Biron made the start against the Islanders on Thursday. Now Lundqvist gets back in there for the Rangers, who have earned at least one point in each of their past four games (3-0-1).
