Pleased with how hard his team is working during training camp---and making sure he does not overwork them during this abbreviated camp---Rangers head coach John Tortorella limited his club to one on-ice session Tuesday---as opposed to two---at the MSG Training Center. He also announced that the team will not practice on the ice Wednesday, instead focusing on video and classroom instruction and off-ice training.
Following practice Tuesday, Tortorella met with reporters and answered questions about his defense corps, a healthy Marc Staal, new additions Rick Nash and Taylor Pyatt, his concerns about Brad Richards missing a third straight day because of the flu, and much more.
