Defenseman Andre Dore played 257 games in the National Hockey League, 139 with the New York Rangers, including his first call-up during the exciting 1978-79 season, one that culminated in  the Blueshirts run to the Stanley Cup Finals.

With the Rangers, Dore played for two great coaches---Fred Shero and Herb Brooks---and in this first part of BlueshirtsUnited.com's 1-on-1 interview with him, Dore shares his memories of both men, among other early-career Ranger memories.
