Saturday night in Hartford six different Whale players recorded goals---including Chris Kreider, who netted his first goal of the season---as Connecticut won its third consecutive game, defeating Providence 6-3. Kris Newbury had a goal and two assists, while defenseman Logan Pyett scored a goal and registered an assist for the Whale. Cam Talbot turned aside 37 shots in goal for Connecticut as Ryan Bourque, Tommy Grant, and Chad Kolarik each scored goals.
