At the 2010 NHL Draft the Rangers selected defenseman Dylan McIlrath in the first round and winger Christian Thomas in the second. Since then the two have grown to become good friends, and this season the pair of rookie pros will be living together in an apartment in Hartford as teammates on The Connecticut Whale.
