After an impressive playoff performance for the Whale last spring, Marek Hrivik earned his first pro contract and proceeded to work out in preparation for his first full AHL season. Unfortunately he missed a couple of weeks of training camp and the start of the regular season due to injury, delaying his start to the 2012-13 season.
But Hrivik returned to practice with the Whale on Tuesday morning, and he is hopeful of playing this weekend against Norfolk.
