One of the most respected executives in hockey, Rangers Assistant General Manager/Connecticut Whale General Manager Jim Schoenfeld, took in both on-ice practices and the two-period scrimmage at the Whale's first day of training camp Sunday at the MSG Training Center.
Afterwards Schoenfeld met with reporters to update the injury status' of Dylan McIlrath and Cam Talbot, explain what is expected of 2011 first round pick JT Miller, discuss the immediate future of 2009 top pick Chris Kreider, and chat about the return to action of winger Chad Kolarik.
