For the second time in three games, Rangers defenseman Dan Girardi broke the ice in what ended up being a 3-0 shutout for Henrik Lundqvist. In Saturday's Game 3 at Newark, it was Girardi collecting the puck at the right point and coming through with the eventual game winner on a power play at 3:19 of the third period. The victory gave the Blueshirts a 2-1 series lead.
