On Friday night, before the start of the Rangers-Canadiens game at The Garden, Blueshirts captain Ryan Callahan received his third Steven McDonald Extra Effort Award. On hand to present the award were Officer Steven McDonald, Patti McDonald, and Conor McDonald, now a police officer himself. They were joined by Blueshirts legend Mark Messier in honoring Callahan.
