Rebecca makes it clear though, that at least in her mind---she viewed this as unusual and not the norm for all polygamous families. Her sister, Elissa, was a victim herself- being married to an abusive man before she turned 18. Bridget runs two trucking companies while enjoying her four amazing children and more pets than her beloved husband can handle. The intended reader is someone who is interested in this case, cults in America, or just autobiographies. They both suffered a bit of culture shock but eventually began to settle into their new lives.

Well written and great insights from someone with an insider view. She is very honest about her relationship with her mother's sister wife. But being sweet is not being holy. I do not touch science-fiction and am especially partial to new writers and book series. At great emotional and psychological harm to herself and her marriage, Rebecca slowly started helping the authorities build a case against these members. His purpose as a author and speaker for more than 4 decades has been to communicate the truth of the Bible, and to help people apply biblical principles to everyday living.
I had been interested in reading about Mormons earlier this year and picked up Jon Krakauer's book, which was too much about the fundamentalist polygamous sect compared to what I was interested in at the time. And neither is this review. This is the inside story of the Fundamentalist Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, which could be called a polygamist cult--but that doesn't really do justice to what went on behind closed doors with the Jeffs family.
