Road Warriors

The Rangers have spent the past few years under John Tortorella establishing themselves as one of the top road teams in the NHL, and they already have won 2 of 3 road games in this year's post-season. How much will this recent success come into play tonight when they skate into the Verizon Center's Sea of Red?

Time to shine, maybe they took the Caps a little lightly and thought they could beat them with minimal effort.... not so! Lets Go Rangers!!!!!

The Rangers made a few un-characteristic mistakes in the last game, but that won't happen again, so I'm expecting a Ranger win tonight. Home-ice advantage doesn't really become much of a factor until the seventh game, and this series won't go that far. LGR!!!

The King is going to be solid tonight - no doubt at all. As long as we stay tight on D and on the forecheck, we should be able to capitalize (ha-ha) on the Caps' rookie goalie. He's shown that he can give up a few softees and that he is capable of being shaken-up

My concern is that if the Rangers get the lead first- they'll sit on it. can't do that with the caps. this goalie can get rocked- he looks nervous when the play comes in fast. get in the slot on this guy.

We are definitely a great road team. We can win the next two on the road. Just can't make HUGE mistakes like we did the other night. Have to stay disciplined so the refs don't make stupid calls. The Caps go down easy...IMO Boyle didn't take a penalty on Green...but the refs saw it differently. I also hope the refs give us the calls...there were many times where the Caps tripped up our players and they weren't called for some reason. Hope for a shutout tonight as long as our boys play their best hockey.

The experience gained in the last series will help them. Back to RANGERS hockey tonight and the sea of red hits the train dejected. LET'S GO RANGERS!!

if the rangers can stop kicking the puck into their own net they should win easily. both series' game 2 found the rangers losing games they could have won without scoring for the other team...defensemen know that they can't angle their skates toward the net when they get near the crease...c'mon, wake up!!

Rangers will not be fazed by the sea of red. Actually I think Rangers might be more relaxed on the road. Rangers win 3-1!

the rangers need to avoide silly turnovers like game 2 that led to goals. the verizon center crowd will jump all over the rangers if they go down early.

Kreider will be the number one star of game 3 if gabby doesn't pick up the pace. That's not to say gabby is doing horribly, but he's not playing like he has all season long by leading the team offensively.
