All They've Got?

Was Ottawa's strong play over the first two periods of Game One the best the Rangers will see from their first-round playoff opponent? Can Ottawa play better in Game Two, and control even longer stretches of play?

Probably the best I have seen the rangers play all season. Hank almost had shut out. Hags was the only player on the first line who didn't get a goal. Cally and Boyle both got a goal. Dubi came really close 3 times. G and Mac looked good. Aside from the beginning of the second where the rangers were a little soft and not very assertive on the puck they played great. The Henrik Lundqvist show continues.

Yes the Ottawa didn't ply well enough to win last night, but don't under estimate them. This team can always come back and huant you. I still think the Rangers need more scoring punch. Give Kreider the kid a chance either on the third or forth line. Mitchell is a good player, but with the amount of playing time John gave him is really hard to perform to his best...so why not give Kreider a chance to show what he he's got.For one game perphaps.

Ottawa has some powerful scoring weapons. But when those weapons are laying scattered all over the ice squirming in pain, what good are they!?

I did like most fans think there was going to be a shutout.. but the rangers cant assume this is all ottawa got this is for the cup! there gonna be fired up and playing even harder now that they lost one.. im not worried at all we have the best team and we will win! but we cant hope this is all ottawa will bring to the ice we need to be one step ahead

Each team will make adjustments as the series moves on that's just reality. The Rangers will respond and play THEIR game...all will be fine. LGR!!

They've got more in the tank. Dubi was fantastic, but he has a whole lot more he can give still.

As long as our defense is on top of their game, they can stop any team from scoring. Look at the goals scored tonight, nobody was covering Alfredsson and no one was covering Condra in our zone. MDZ tried to stop the 2-on-1 but hey...if Staal was where he should have been, that play never happens and Ottawa doesn't score that 2nd goal the way they did.

Ottawa is a goal scoring team. Spezza, Alfredson, Michalek are long time big time scorers. Young Karlsson had an unheard of 78 points from the blueline. NYR must be at their defensive best and can't take a shift off... Let's Go Rangers!!!!!
