The Rangers came undone late in the third period---with Chicago scoring three times en-route to a 4-3 victory over the Blueshirts on Friday night. The loss was the third straight in regulation for the Rangers; and after the game Ryan Callahan, Henrik Lundqvist, and Ryan McDonagh assessed the damage.
“ It's not a crisis. This is the first time all year we have lost three straight (in regulation), and what do we have, 15 games left? That's pretty good. It's a bump in the road and something we have to overcome. ”
- Ryan Callahan
“ We're in a stretch right now where we are trying really hard, but it's just not going our way, and we need some bounces to go our way. Unfortunately they went against us there in the third period. It was a tough one. ”
- Henrik Lundqvist
“ It's a tough pill to swallow. I thought we came out with great jump in the third period, we had them pinned down and then we scored a goal to take a lead. You have to give them some credit. ”
- Ryan McDonagh
