The Rangers held a practice at the MSG Training Center on Wednesday afternoon before heading out on a road trip that will take them to Ottawa on Thursday and Chicago on Friday. After practice, Brad Richards, Brandon Prust, Carl Hagelin, Brian Boyle, Ryan McDonagh, Michael Del Zotto, and Mike Rupp all talked about the team's sense that it needs to regain some of its edge and how the players feel fortunate that they have found ways to win in games where they were not at their best.
