The Pittsburgh Penguins threw a strong all-around game at the Rangers Tuesday night, and when all was said and done, the Blueshirts had been shut out 2-0.
Following the contest Henrik Lundqvist and Ryan Callahan addressed the media and discussed different aspects of the defeat.

They had a couple of good plays in the second (period) where they scored. But I don't know what was missing today. It felt like they were an aggressive and smart team. They played well and made it really tough for us to create any big chances tonight.

I thought as the game progressed we started to get our game, started to forecheck more, started to get pucks in deep, and control it in their end. We had opportunities, but unfortunately we could not bury them.

They're a talented team, and we needed to close them out better---not give them as much time and space. When you spend as much time in the defensive zone (as the Rangers often did), guys get tired. But those are the momentum swings, and I thought after that we responded well.
