The Rangers completed a terrific weekend of knocking off both the Flyers and the Capitals, following Saturday's 5-2 win in Philly with a hard-fought 3-2 victory at The Garden over the Caps on Sunday afternoon. After the game BlueshirtsUnited.com caught up with Henrik Lundqvist and Brandon Dubinsky, who both discussed the big weekend, as well as Brandon Prust, who happily chatted about scoring his first goal since October 10th.
See what these key Rangers had to say, then share your comments below.
It's been an intense 48 hours here with two tough games, but it's been a great week for us and we should feel good about ourselves. We made sure there were no excuses with the early starts, and we set the tone early today.
— Henrik Lundqvist
It took a great defensive effort in both games this weekend, and I think we were up to that challenge. Obviously it doesn't hurt to have Henry (Henrik Lundqvist) back there. He's always a rock for us.
— Brandon Dubinsky
Definitely feels good (to finally score), and to get the game-winner is good. It's probably been (48 games), but it felt like a hundred! It's been a long time coming, and hopefully I'll get a few more here.
— Brandon Prust
