Start here...

The Rangers drew first blood--literally and figuratively--in their best of seven first-round playoff series with the Philadelphia Flyers Thursday night at The Garden, skating to a 4-1 victory. Bouyed by a three-goal third period, the Rangers have now won nine straight home games against the Flyers.

However, as well as the Rangers played--and they did have the puck nearly the entire night--they are well aware that this was a 1-1 game nearly halfway through the third period, so there is still room for improvement once Game Two arrives Sunday afternoon.

Jim Cerny and Matt Calamia break it all down from Game One, and pick the Rangers Three Stars and Unsung Hero on the following pages.
