Pre-Game Chatter in Colorado

“ I think we have a good thing going on right now, definitely want to continue that, and take that confidence home with us. ”
- Anton Stralman
“ Three and one on this road trip would be huge. We'll have to be careful how we play Colorado, they've been playing really well all year. But three and one would be a great trip. ”
- Kevin Klein
“ I think five-on-five our game has been pretty good, but there is definitely room for improvement. We're going to stick with the same lines tonight against a very strong opponent, and see how our guys are going to play. ”
- Alain Vigneault
“ (John Moore) is a highly skilled defenseman--great skater, great shot--and I think the more he plays the more he's going to understand the game, and the more he understands the game the better his decision process will be. He's got a great set of tools. ”
- Alain Vigneault

The Rangers close out their four game road trip out west tonight when they skate against the Colorado Avalanche, one of the elite teams in the NHL this year. A win tonight would give the Rangers a 3-1 road trip, and when caught up with defensemen Anton Stralman and Kevin Klein after the morning skate at the Pepsi Center both were asked about the importance of finishing the trip with three wins in four games. Also we caught up with head coach Alain Vigneault about the team's 5-on-5 play, and the return of John Moore to the lineup this evening.
