Dominic Moore has been leading a Rangers’ fourth line that has been solid as of late. They get it on the forecheck, kill penalties, and are able to sustain a flow and pace that coach Alain Vigneault can rely on while rolling all four of his lines. Moore is a sound defensive forward, but lately his offensive side has been coming through at big times. Moore was able to contribute two short-handed points (1G 1A) during the same penalty kill on Wednesday night against the Maple Leafs, which ultimately tied the game and forced overtime. He also picked up the secondary assist on Brian Boyle’s first period tally against the Red Wings on Sunday afternoon. The Rangers will look to use Moore’s energy and effort during this final stretch of the season, and if he can keep contributing offensively, the Rangers will have four lines that can apply pressure to the opposition.
