When the Rangers landed in Chicago Tuesday afternoon the temperature was zero degrees, and on Wednesday morning it was a balmy four degrees, but there is no doubt things will heat up at the United Center Wednesday night when the Rangers face the defending Stanley Cup champion Blackhawks.

The Rangers did not have a morning skate Wednesday, opting instead for meetings and a video session at the team hotel, as the they ready themselves for a treal "measuring stick" kind of game.
