Another big game for the Rangers comes on Jan. 23 when the St. Louis Blues visit Madison Square Garden. The Blues, like the Blackhawks, are one of the premier teams from the Western Conference, giving another strong test for the Rangers. The Blues are one of the top defensive team in the NHL, and as of writing, are one of just six teams who have not allowed more than 100 goals this year.
The Rangers played St. Louis well in October, losing 5-3, but had several opportunities to leave with two points. It'll also give Rangers fans the opportunities to see several U.S. Olympians first hand when David Backes, T.J. Oshie and Kevin Shattenkirk visit just days before they join Ryan Callahan, Derek Stepan and Ryan McDonagh in Sochi.
