Tuesday night the Rangers lost another game on home ice, and lost another key part of their team when captain Ryan Callahan suffered a second degree sprain of his knee during the first period, an injury that will cost him four-to-six weeks. Following the game BlueshirtsUnited caught up with Brad Richards---who notched an assist on Rick Nash's goal and played 21:46, Henrik Lundqvist---who made 22 saves, and Ryan McDonagh---who logged a team-high 27:18, to discuss Callahn's injury and what went wrong in the team's 4-1 loss to the Predators.
“ Losing Cally, and Staalsie last week, we're going to find out how much will we have. We're being tested right now. ”
- Brad Richards
“ We fight back, but that third goal killed us. It's just real tough right now, a real tough stretch. We have to stick together and stay positive. ”
- Henrik Lundqvist
“ We were able to get one there on a good passing play, and I think from there we were looking for pretty plays a little too much. We have to get back to our forechecking mentality. ”
- Ryan McDonagh
