No. 1 – Cam Talbot (1-0, 1 SO)

Cam Talbot earned the first shutout of his NHL career Saturday night, blanking the Montreal Canadiens, 1-0, at the Bell Centre. The win gave Talbot four straight wins and improved his record to 4-1, and he has not allowed more than two goals in any of his starts.

Talbot continues to impress more and more in each start, and has gained the trust of Alain Vigneault and his coaching staff to be inserted into the lineup whenever starting net minder Henrik Lundqvist could use a night off.

The 26-year-old Ghostbusters fan certainly eliminated any ghosts that may have existed in Montreal, as he became the first net minder to win at Bell Centre since March 2009, and also became the first Rangers goaltender since Ed Giacomin in 1967 to shutout the Canadiens in Montreal.
