Saturday Postgame Chatter

“ It's something I had always dreamed of growing up (to have an NHL shutout), and to do it in this building is just amazing. ”
- Cam Talbot
“ We knew we were due for a win here, so it was just a matter of time. We were well aware of (our struggles) here, and we came in and had a real good road game. We had a good start and carried it right on through. ”
- Ryan Callahan
“ The goalie played really well, was really calm. Just a great night--Canadian kid playing in Montreal and getting his first shutout, it's a great story. (Talbot) has been nothing but a huge help for us. ”
- Brad Richards

There were smiles all around in the visitors dressing room Saturday night at the Bell Centre as the Rangers earned their first win that building since the 2008-09 season. That it was a 1-0 shutout, the first of Cam Talbot's NHL career, made the night even more special.

Following the game BlueshirtsUnited.com caught up with Talbot---who stopped all 22 shots he faced to earn his first shutout in only his fifth NHL game, Ryan Callahan---who scored the game's only goal, and Brad Richards---who notched his team-leading 16th point with an assist in Callahan's score, to discuss the rookie goalie and snapping their eight-game schneid in Montreal.
