No. 2: Mats Zuccarello (1G, 2A, 3PTS)

Increased physical play from the scrappy 5’ 7” left-winger has helped turn the tide for the Rangers. Zuccarello had a good week notching one goal and two assists in four games, and has averaged nearly a point a game over the past nine games dating back to being scratched against Philadelphia in October. Mats buried the game-winning goal against the Florida Panthers on Sunday off a feed from Brad Richards and Derek Stepan. Perhaps the marquee win of the season so far was the Blueshirts' thrashing of Pittsburgh in which Zuccarello registered an assist on a Derek Stepan goal against the Penguins.
