It wasn't always pretty Sunday night at The Garden, but the Rangers eventually did find a way to fend off the struggling Florida Panthers and skate to a 4-3 victory. In the postgame dressing room BlueshirtsUnited.com caught up with Mats Zuccarello--who scored the game-winning goal in the third period and led the team with five shots on goal, goaltender Henrik Lundqvist---who made 24 saves and evened his personal record at 6-6-0, and alternate captain Brad Richards---who scored a goal and added an assist after breaking his stick in frustration in the second period, to discuss various aspects of the team's third win in a row.
“ It was a great win, but we didn't play up to our standards tonight. It's nice to get two points, but we have to be better. ”
- Mats Zuccarello
“ I felt like I was on it tonight, reading the pucks and was patient, and instead I gave up three goals. I am not super happy with that, but it was a big win and it was enough for two points. ”
- Henrik Lundqvist
“ The frustration was starting to build a little bit, not in a bad way, but I was just frustrated because the last few games I had a few good chances and tonight when you don;t capitalize on those sometimes they come back and bite you. But then I got lucky to get another one. ”
- Brad Richards
