Miller Goal

Normal_sl__u7i6781w

J.T. Miller had not scored in 35 games since February of last season, but when he did finally score a goal Sunday night against the Panthers it was an absolute beauty, and quite possibly the prettiest passing play of the Rangers season to date. Chris Kreider really makes this play, aggressively hunting down the puck and causing a turnover, before Miller, Ryan McDonagh, and Kreider finish off the gorgoeus passing sequence that leaves Panthers goalie Tim Thomas hopelessly out of position. McDonagh's nifty drag and dance around a defender near the blueline also is a key element in this goal, which game the Rangers a 1-0 lead midway through the first period en-route to a 4-3 victory.
