A big question going into the Rangers’ season this year was the performance of Brad Richards, and thus far, he's answered them superbly. Posting four points in three games, including three goals, Richards is setting himself up for a great year. His best performance of the season so far was the shutout win against Washington, in which he contributed primary assists to both Ranger goals. He came close to a goal himself off of a beautiful behind-the-back pass from Ryan Callahan in front of the net, but it rang off of the post. Richards is proving his worth to this team, and so far, it has proved immeasurable.
