During our weekly chat here on BlueshirtsUnited.com yesterday one fan asked me a simple, yet thought-provoking question: Which Rangers player has the most to prove in 2013-14?
My belief is that every player has something to prove every season, regardless of his stature in the league or in the organization. And especially with a new coaching staff in place, each player needs to prove himself all over again this upcoming season.
But the question did get me to thinking about which player, or players, has the most to prove once training camp starts in September. And why does this player, or players, have more to prove?
So after a day's worth of thought, here is a breakdown of players---Michael Del Zotto, Chris Kreider, Dylan McIlrath, Brad Richards, Cam Talbot, and the Swedish pair of Jesper Fast and Oscar Lindberg---who stand out in my book as players with something extra to prove in 2013-14.
