“ I believe I will get the chance, but everything is up to me, how I perform (in training camp)in September. My goal is to have a good camp and go from there. The key in the NHL is consistency, play your best every night. It's what I am working on. ”

“ Hopefully (my concussion injuries) are all over, put the tough times behind me and now the good times are going to come. Fortunately right now I don't feel anything (in regards to concussion symptoms). ”

Twice sidelined by concussions a year ago, Marek Hrivik's first full season of professional hockey was one of ups and downs. The Slovak forward appeared in 40 games with the Rangers minor league affiliate in Hartford and scored seven goals, added  19 assists and totaled 26 points---still finishing seventh on the club in assists and tenth in points despite missing half of his team's games.

This week Hrivik is taking part in the Rangers 2013 Prospects Development Camp at the MSG Training Center; and on Tuesday he chatted with reporters about his improved health, his goal come September, and his dream of reaching the NHL.
