No. 4: Goal in Game 4 vs. Washington

With the Rangers trailing the Capitals two games to one in the playoff quarterfinals, Richards scored the game-opening goal in Game Four at Madison Square Garden. Capitalizing on a brutal giveaway by Caps goalie Braden Holtby---whose clearing attempt up the middle was knocked down by Taylor Pyatt---the Rangers eventually score when Richards hammers the rebound of Carl Hagelin's shot into the cage as Holtby tries desperately to get himself back into position, and his defenseman John Erskine attempts to play the role of goaltender as Richards cranks up his shot.
