Rick Nash may be best known for his wicked wrist shot, in particular when flying down the right side and zipping a shot from the circle on goal, but his clutch goal against the Islanders on March 7th came in a completely different manner. As the desperate Rangers---trailing 1-0 in the final minutes of this game at the Nassau Coliseum---buzz in the Islanders zone, Nash sets up in front of Isles goalie Evgeni Nabokov. Derek Stepan collects the puck at the left point and whips a shot towards the net which is perfectly deflected down and past Nabokov by Nash---his 8th goal of the season with 5:23 to play tying the score, eventually forcing an overtime in which he would assist on Marian Gaborik's game-winner in a dramatic 2-1 road victory.
