With the Rangers coming off losses to the Florida Panthers and Washington Capitals they were in need of a quick start---and a victory---when they skated against the Flyers down in Philly on March 26th. Rick Nash provided the quick start, opening the scoring with a spinning, quick wrist shot that beats Flyers goalie Ilya Bryzgalov to the blocker side 14:54 into the first period---a game the Rangers would go on to win 5-2. The goal was the 300th of Nash's NHL career, and it came in his 702nd career game.
