After the big trade last summer which made Rick Nash a Ranger, the star forward had to wait extra long to make his Blueshirt debut due to the NHL's work stoppage. But when play resumed, Nash left his mark on Broadway, leading the Rangers with 21 goals and finishing second on the team with 42 points, while playing in 44 games. Nash also tied for tenth in goals among all NHL players, and was second on the Rangers with a +16 plus/minus rating. He had 14 multi-point performances, including four-multi goal games, and this year marked his ninth consecutive season of scoring 20+ goals.
In the playoffs---only the second time in his career Nash appeared in the post-season---he notched one goal and tied for fourth on the team with five total points in 12 games.
