No. 4: Power-Play Goal in Game 5 vs. B's

Facing playoff elimination again in Game Five of their semifinal series with the Bruins, the Rangers managed to quiet the crowd by jumping out to a 1-0 lead on Girardi's power play goal 10:39 into the first period. Girardi pounds his stick on the ice calling for a pass while positioned isnide the blueline. Mats Zuccarello slides Girardi the puck from his position along the right-wing boards, and Girardi blasts a slap shot through Brian Boyle's screen in front for his fifth career post-season goal. An interesting side note: of Girardi's 31 career regular-season goals in the NHL, 11 have come on the power play, including five back in 2007-08.
