Clowe Picks up Assist in Playoff Debut


Forward Ryane Clowe returned to the lineup in Game 4 and picked up an assist and four hits in 12:19 of ice time. The point was his first in the postseason with the Rangers. For his career, Clowe has 46 points in 69 games.

Zucc Registers Another Assist

Mats Zuccarello was credited with an assist on Girardi’s third period goal, and added three hits in 12:18 of ice time. He has three assists in the last two games.

Cally, Pyatt With Helpers

Both Ryan Callahan and Taylor Pyatt picked up assists in Game 4. Callahan led all skaters with seven blocked shots, and added five hits and six shots, which tied the game-high, in 23:31 of ice time. He has 13 blocked shots in the four games, which leads all forwards in the playoffs. Pyatt’s assist was his second in two games. He was credited with four hits and two blocks in 10:04 of ice time.

Mac Logs 30-plus Minutes

Defenseman Ryan McDonagh was credited with five blocks and logged a game-high 31:29 of ice time. Game 4 marked the third time in his playoff career that he’s logged more than 30 minutes of ice time, and the first since he logged 53:17 against the Capitals in Game 3 last season.
