While the game itself may have been sealed up for the Rangers with a 3-0 lead in the third period, Henrik Lundqvist's second shutout of the season certainly wasn't. After the puck was shot into the Rangers zone, it took a strange bounce in the corner and found its way onto Steve Sullivan's stick. The forward fired a high wrist shot that was faught off by Lundqvist with his blocker, thus preserving the shutout that Lundqvist would gain with the 4-0 win over New Jersey.
